Here's what we've learned so far about graphing lines:

1  If it's in the form

Ax + By = C

graph it by finding the intercepts.

2  If it's in the form

y = mx + b

start at y = b and, then, use the slope (rise over run) to nail the second point.

3  If it's in the form

y = #

then it's a horizontal line.

4  If it's in the form

x = #

then it's a vertical line.

Do all the problems below, then there's one glitch I need to tell you about.

TRY IT:

Graph

5x + 2y = -10

y = -2x + 3

y = 4

x = 4
