graph of y = 1 / x ... points on it include ( 1/3 , 3 ) , ( 1/2 , 2 ) , ( 1 , 1 ) , ( 2 , 1/2 )

The Volcano:

y = 1 / ( x^2 )

graph of y = 1 / ( x^2 ) ... some points on it are ( 1/2 , 4 ) , ( 1 , 1 ) , and ( 2 , 1/4 )

These last two will be important if you go on to take Calculus -- they make great examples.
