Solving Equations by Factoring

Here's another one:

Solve  x^3 + 2x^2 - 35x = 0

Factor: x ( x^2 + 2x - 35 ) = 0 which gives x ( x - 5 ) ( x + 7 ) = 0

Blobs = 0 : x = 0 ( done ) or x - 5 = 0 or x + 7 = 0 ... solve : add 5 to both sides of the second equation and subtract 7 from both sides of the third equation, giving solutions of x = 0, x = 5, and x = -7
