Here's another one: 

 
Factor		 3y^( -5 / 2 ) - 5y^( -3 / 2 ) = 3y( -5 / 2 ) - 5y^( -3 / 2 ) ... the ^( -5 / 2 ) is smaller! = y^( -5 / 2 ) ( 3 - 5y )

 

TRY IT:

Factor 2w^( 3 / 2 ) + 4w^( 5 / 2 )

 

Factor y^( 3 / 2 ) w^3 * 5x^4 + ( 3 / 2 )y^( 1 / 2 ) w^4


That last guy was to get you ready for this bad boy!

Factor

( x - 2 )^( 3 / 2 ) ( x^5 + 3 )^3 ( 5x^4 ) + ( 3 / 2 )( x - 2 )^( 1 / 2 ) ( x^5 + 3 )^4 ... cross out the ^( 3 / 2 ) on the first guy, ( x^5 + 3 )^3 , ( x - 2 )^( 1 / 2 ) and the ^4 on the last guy = ( x - 2 )^( 1 / 2 ) ( x^5 + 3 )^3 [ 5x^4 ( x - 2 ) + ( 3 / 2 )( x^ 5 + 3 )] = ( x - 2 )^( 1 / 2 ) ( x^5 + 3 )^3 ( ( 13 / 2 )x^5 - 10x^4 + ( 9 / 2 ) )
