Divisibility Tests

9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90, 99, 108

 

Whoa...  Dude...  Except for that 99 guy (which is a no brainer), they all add up to 9!

 

TRY IT:

Is 540 divisible by 3?
 

Is 982 divisible by 9?
 

Is 12,451 divisible by 3?
 

Is 231,624 divisible by 9?
 

Divisibility by 6 Test:

You just have to do two tests for this one...

A number is divisible by 6 if it is
divisible by 2 AND 3.

So, you just do the test for 2 and the test for 3...  If they both work, then you're good to go!
