Dividing with decimals works exactly like regular long division... with just one difference.

Let's divide 2.35 by 5:

2.35 divided by 5

Set it up the usual way...

2.35 divided by 5...  and put the decimal point right above the other one

Now, just go on as usual and work around the decimal points.  Just pretend they aren't even there!

long division work for 2.35 divided by 5...  So, 2.35 divided by 5 = .47

Sometimes, you'll see this as 0.47.
